Considering Homeschooling Ministry Monthly Resource Guide
December 2006
Dear Christian Families

As we prepared this December resource guide, we could not help to remember a public school in Texas last year that refused to allow the colors green and red during December, and the public school in California that would not let school children use Christmas lights to decorate their classroom. Such foolishness.

In one of our new website video highlights, Dr. Michael Farris states this, "Godly instruction works better than secular instruction. Why? Because truth is there. Where there is no truth, people get mixed up."

A Christian home education allows you to teach your children the truth in every aspect of learning. It affords the best opportunity to nurture your children in the ways of the Lord. We hope that you will hold onto the promises of God and begin tutoring and educating your children at home. If so, we are confident that you will see a renewal in your family, in your relationship with your children, in your child's relationship with Jesus, and that, will just be the beginning.

Our goal is to provide you with resources and homeschool information, and help you get connected with Christian homeschool support organizations. If you feel led, please share this newsletter with your friends and family. Let them know that we send out completely free, a DVD and brochure to families considering homeschooling.

Merry Christmas,
Denise Kanter

Preschoolers and Peace
Homeschooling with preschoolers at your side may be the most challenging thing you've ever faced. It is my hope that you will find encouragement, practical ideas, and resources here. Truly, when God calls us to a task He provides everything we need to accomplish His goals..."And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Phillippians 4:19

When our oldest child was 4 years old, we began to educate him at home. At the time we also had a 2- year-old and a newborn. Now, 9 years later, our children are 13, 11, and 9-year-old boys, as well as 7, 5, and 3-year-old girls, with our newest preschooler due in March of 2007. I have never known what it is to homeschool without the presence of preschoolers.

New Website Video Clips & More
We have added new video clips to our website pages. Listen to a few encouraging words from Dr. Michael Farris, Dr. Brian Ray, Dr. Tim La Haye, Dr. Bruce Shortt and Cathy Duffy.

We are in our post-production on a new video for families considering homeschooling. We will keep you posted when that becomes available.
