I am now homeschooling my 4-1/2 year old.
I did hours upon hours reviewing homeschooling websites, reading
homeschooling books, the Bible and praying. Everything showed me that
homeschooling from a Christian worldview is God ordained. I have two older
daughters 21 and 20 who went to private and public schools. We lived
and breathed our faith every day. When high school junior and senior
year hit, my daughters no longer wanted to go to church, and now do not even
want to discuss God. It breaks my heart, I have learned a lot, I take
responsibility, I was never taught these things, in church or out. I
would love to help others know God's word on homeschooling, and the problem
with public schools. Thank you for the opportunity to become a Chapter
Leader. Nancy T., Pensacola, Florida

Considering Homeschooling Ministry™ |

Would
you like to minister the blessings of a Biblical home
education to other families? |

Dear Christian Friends, Leaders and Homeschooling Families:
In today's world it is more important than ever to
reach out to
parents with young children and those
that have their children in secular schools to help
them to discover the blessings of a Biblical home
education. If we reach out to these families,
mentor them and then bridge them to homeschool
support groups and Christian independent study
programs we will personally be helping raise
up a
generation of Godly children.
- "I just wanted to thank you for sending me the DVDs and info.
to share with my homeschool group. We had two new families at our
meeting. I gave them your info. and Dvds. One of them called this
morning wanting to "pay" for a DVD to send to a friend. She was so
so surprised when I told her that I would give it to her to spread
the word about homeschooling. You are really blessing families.
Thank you so much and God Bless your ministry." - Janie
-
"I received the homeschool dvd and I was blown
away at how informative it is and such a huge
blessing too. There are so many I want to share this
with, but I only have one copy. Is there anyway I
could order more copies say 10 more? They
wouldn't be wasted, please let me know. Thank you
so much and GOD BLESS
you." - Audrey
We have held more than 40
outreaches (and counting) in our home and home church and we can
help you get started.

What does a Mentor/Outreach
offer?
1. Mentors are
homeschooling families
that agree with our
mission and statement of
faith who would like to
help families that visit
our website looking for
information on
homeschooling in their
area. Mentors
provide valuable
assistance and
encouragement through
e-mail correspondence.
What do Chapters and
groups offer?
1. Monthly meetings
either in a church,
library or facility where a
volunteer experienced homeschooling family
shares their methods,
what works, how they
homeschool from a
Biblical worldview and
more. These meetings are
open to Christians with
babies, toddlers,
preschoolers and with
their children in
traditional schools who
want to research and
find out more about
homeschooling.
2. Groups promote
preschooling
at home, so
facilitating park
days and learning field
trips for the families
with younger children
can be considered.
3. Groups may have
lending libraries,
access to homeschooling
DVD's and CD's,
homeschooling
counseling, suggested
reading lists,
homeschool curriculum
bags and catalogs.
4. Weekly and monthly
e-mail updates, news and
information important to homeschooling from a
Biblical worldview.
Groups are easy to run
and a blessing to
Christians who need help
with the biggest
decision regarding their childrens
lives. Most
homeschool support
groups are not open to
families just
considering or
researching
homeschooling, so this
is a wonderful
opportunity to help
others whether you are a homeschooling support
group leader, a
homeschooling family, a
mom with young children,
a Pastor or Christian
leader.
We have many wonderful
and free
resources available for
Mentors and Group
Leaders, which include
our DVD's, brochures,
Homeschoolers Grow Up
booklet, sample
homeschooling magazines
and more.
